Ski resorts in the Czech Republic

Špindlerův Mlýn – The resort has two large ski slopes -St. Peter and Medvedin. The first is located on mount St. Peter, there are 11 slopes, running, adult and children’s trails, as well as a track for snowboarders. In the dark, the track is illuminated for easy descent. For snowboarders there is the set up ramps and jump. In the forest, there are about 100 kilometers of trails for lovers of skiing. There are also ski schools, rental equipment and a café where you can have a cheap snack at St. Peter’s.

Krkonoše – 16 ski slopes, as well as lifts and three cable cars. The length of the tracks is about 4 km. On the tops of the mountains is usually sunny weather, on the coldest days the temperature drops to minus 7 degrees Celsius. Krkonoše is considered a world-class resort, there are more than 100 hotels and fifty cafes and restaurants.

Rokytnice nad Jizerou – here come snowboarders, lovers of mountain and cross-country skiing.
This resort always has snow – suitable for skiing condition of the tracks is supported by “snow guns”. On one of the tracks, you can ride in the dark — it is illuminated by lights. For snowboarders equipped with a system of jumps, and the tracks can be reached by ski lifts.

Liberec – for tourists in this area is created a ski resort. There are three ski jumps, training and sports tracks (5 of them are of high complexity). The required amount of snow is maintained with the help of “snow guns”, some tracks are suitable for evening skiing due to the lighting

Harrachov – its total length of trails is about 10 km. Here come cross-country skiers, snowboarders. The center has schools for adults and children. The skiing season in Harrachov starts in December and lasts until April. There are eight slopes (one — increased complexity), cross-country ski tracks and with artificial snow cover. Very popular among beginners is a ski simulator, it allows any skier without fear to go down the mountain.

Pec pod Sněžkou – there are 11 slopes (seven — increased complexity), cross-country skiing and snowboarding tracks. Weather and natural conditions of the resort are close to the Polar circle. Snow has been lying on Snow mountain for six months. The total length of the slopes is more than 8 kilometers.
